  Foot & Ankle Rehab Exercises

You can’t expect your foot or ankle to bounce back into normal when you haven’t used it in a while. Slowly easing your body back into movement is ESSENTIAL to your success. And I mean SLOWLY. There is no rush. It’s better to take your time, move well, and help your body “get back out there”.

I’ve created foot and ankle rehabilitation programs that emphasize the use of therapeutic exercise to restore joint range of motion, muscle strength, neuromuscular coordination, and gait mechanics. These have been shown to have clinical success for patients suffering various foot and ankle pathologies. Rehabilitation programs like the ones below are beneficial for ankle sprains, plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendonitis, turf toe, heel pain, ball of foot pain, toe pain, ankle sprain, stress fractures, mortons neroma, or other foot and ankle conditions. Of course you will ALWAYS need to check with your doctor or physiotherapist before trying any of the below exercise routines. Preview the workouts in advance, listen to your body, and do what you need to feel your best.

Start from the ground up — let’s get your feet back into the game of your active life.
